About us

A social corner of the west end

The Reserve Social sits in an old Adelaide building on Currie Street, a short walk from Light Square. We kept the character — the brick, the high ceilings, the worn timber — and built a relaxed venue around it.

The brick-lined dining room and bar at The Reserve Social, Adelaide

One venue, three moods

Mornings are café hours: espresso from open, toasties and bowls, and takeaway for people heading into the city. Around midday the kitchen kicks in — schnitzels, parmis, burgers, pizza and share plates for long lunches and quick ones.

By late afternoon it becomes a pub again. Tap beer, South Australian wine and spirits, nightly specials, and share boards for the middle of the table. Same room, different feel.

We're a local venue, not a chain. Staff know the regulars, groups are welcome, and if you're planning something bigger we'll work out what suits your date rather than push a package at you.

Near Light Square

141 Currie Street, Adelaide SA 5000. You're a couple of minutes from Light Square / Wauwi, the west end tram stops, and the offices and apartments along Currie and Waymouth Streets.

It's an easy meeting point — walkable from most of the CBD, with city car parks nearby and plenty going on around it before and after a meal.
